Notice / Note (Obligation)

Every insured event must be reported to the insurer in writing immediately, at the latest within one week. If this obligation is violated, the insurer is released from its obligation to pay the policyholder.

The federal government, states, municipalities and municipal associations are exempt from all claims for compensation that are made by participants or third parties on the occasion of the event based on statutory liability provisions. Liability claims of drivers, vehicle owners and owners among themselves are also insured. The participant is not entitled to satisfy any claims without the prior consent of the organizer. Insurance cover is granted on a subsidiary basis.
